School is right around the corner and their are teen drivers ready to get on the road. Parents before you let your children get on the road make sure they are aware of the driving safety rules and understand the consequences that may follow. We want to make sure all drivers are safe and secure and they are aware of the speed limits.
1. Be knowledgeable of the school bus- Patience is a virtue. Understand that it is very important to stop when the school bus stops, because usually when they stop they are trying to let some children off of the bus. Always remember when you see the bus slowing down you should slow down as well.
2.Make sure you stay within the speed limit of the school one. You should always abide by every speed limit but especially the speed limit of the school zone. Be mindful of any pedestrians crossing the street. Take your time and if you are in a rush make sure you leave early.
3.If you are carpooling or driving make sure everyone buckles up including yourself. Make sure the person keeps their eye on the road and they should not be texting or driving. Everyone should pay attention to the road to be well aware of anything.
4.Enjoy the luxury of driving but just be careful because you are not just driving for you, you are driving for others as well. Take your time and, considering the fact that you have to be to school in a certain period of time you should always leave early just in case their are any accidents on the road.
